Orlando
is a shoppers paradise and your InnHouse
vacation home is located just minutes from them all! There are a total
of seven major shopping malls in the area that offer everything from
large department stores to the small specialty shops. The malls include:
The Florida Mall, Orlando Fashion Square Mall, The Mall at Millenia,
Altamonte Mall, Oviedo Marketplace, Seminole Towne Center and the West
Oaks Mall. Specialty shopping and dining can also be found at Downtown
Disney, CityWalk, Pointe Orlando, the Marketplace at Dr. Phillips,
Colonial Marketplace, Winter Park Village, and downtown Winter Park.
Orlando is also home to several Outlet Malls and we have all the famous
major chains and discount retailers. Here are just a few of are major
shopping areas.
Florida
Mall: 250 Stores and still growing! The
most famous mall in the area keeps getting better. Located on Sandlake
Road and Orange Blossom Trail.
The Mall at Millenia:
Orlando’s upscale shopping mall.
Anchored by Bloomingdale's, Macy's and Neiman Marcus and includes more
than 200 stores and restaurants. The surrounding area is also home to
many other national retail outlets. Take Interstate 4 to exit 78. Head
east on Conroy Road. The Mall is on your right.
Orlando
Premium Outlets:
A Mediterranean style outlet mall
featuring over 110 of the worlds most famous designers. Located on South
International Drive, south of Central Florida Parkway.
Prime Outlets and Designer Outlet Center:
Newly redeveloped into a Mediterranean
style outdoor shopping Mall this Orlando classic (formerly Belz Outlet)
has gone upscale and is better than ever! Buy direct from the
manufacturer from numerous designer brands. "Neiman Marcus Last Call"
is now open! Located on North
International Drive, North of Kirkman Road.
Antique Row at Lake Ivanhoe:
For those searching for personal treasures of old, Orlando's
Antique Row on Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando offers a variety of
collectibles. Visitors looking for specialty items can also stop by the
nearby Ivanhoe shops, which boast antiques, fine gifts and clothing.
Downtown
Farmers Market:
For a relaxing Saturday morning shopping
expedition, visitors can stop by Orlando’s Downtown Farmers Market held
every Saturday. The market offers baked goods, fresh produce, handmade
crafts, plants and fresh flowers. The Farmers Market is located in
Heritage Square in Downtown Orlando on (East) Central Avenue between
Court and Magnolia Avenues.
Downtown
Winter Park:
Combine shopping with beautiful scenery and stroll
along Park Avenue, just north of Orlando in downtown Winter Park.
Experience the upscale ambiance of this scenic and peaceful
European-style avenue dotted with small boutiques, art galleries,
antique shops, gift emporiums and outdoor cafés. Take Interstate 4 to
exit 87 and head east on Fairbanks Road. Take a left onto Park Avenue.
The Winter Park Farmers Market is held every Saturday morning. The
Farmers Market is located at the intersection of New York and New
England avenues in downtown Winter Park. Shoppers are delighted with
fresh produce, baked goods, steaming coffee and an assortment of plants,
flowers and other goods that are available.
Celebration:
In downtown Celebration, several unique
shopping venues, restaurants, cafes and movie theaters can be found
along Main Street. Located to the southeast of the intersection of
Interstate 4 and US 192.
Festival
Bay:
Also located on North International Drive, just
North of Kirkman Road, Festival Bay features specialty shops,
restaurants, a multi-screen movie theater, and a boardwalk complex.
Downtown Disney:
Nestled along a lake, Downtown Disney is comprised of three areas; the
Marketplace, Pleasure Island, and West Side.
The
Marketplace:
Originally opened as Disney Village this
quaint shopping area has always been a favorite place to while a way an
afternoon. The Marketplace is a popular open-air shopping spot with 26
shops featuring everyone's favorite mouse and all of his pals. Between
shopping visitors can take a boat ride around the Lake Buena Vista
lagoon, listen to entertainment on an outdoor stage, or dine at one of
its popular themed restaurants. The Marketplace is also home of the
Rainforest Cafe.
West
Side: When the sun goes down Pleasure
Island is a non-stop island of fun with multiple clubs and live
entertainment. Don't miss the Adventurers Club, the Comedy Club, Planet
Hollywood, BET Soundstage, Orlando Harley-Davidson, and the Irish Pub
and Restaurant "Raglan Road." And look for more changes coming soon!
Universal’s CityWalk:
One of Orlando's hot spots for entertainment. This 30 acre complex is
home to a mix of live music, great theme restaurant venues, fine dining,
nightclubs, a wide variety of exciting and innovative shopping
experiences, state of the art movies and more. CityWalk features such
big names as; Blue Man Group, Hard Rock Live, Emeril's, NBA City, Jimmy
Buffet's Margaritaville, Latin Quarter, Bubba Gump's Shrimp Co., Pat
O'Brien's, NASCAR Sports Grille, and Bob Marley a Tribute to Freedom.
Pointe Orlando:
Located on International Drive offers
upscale dining and shopping in exclusive stores and also features a 21-screen
movie theater. This 450,000-square-foot,
multi-level complex has emerged from a major renovation better than ever
with outdoor dining, courtyards, and beautiful landscaping. Pointe Orlando is
home to the Capital Grille, Tommy Bahama Cafe and Emporium, the Oceanaire
Seafood Room, and BB Kings Blues Club.
