large number of restaurants that rate within the top 3% on the zagat
scale.
Restaurant Row: Don't miss
the area of Sandlake Road to the west of Interstate 4. The area's fabled
Restaurant Row is home to many of the hottest restaurants in town, from
casual, to funky, to upscale, whatever you are in the mood for you can
find it all.
Lake Eola and

Nestled in the heart of downtown Orlando
is the beautiful Lake Eola. Take a stroll around the beautifully
landscaped grounds or rent a swan boat for a relaxing trip around the
lake. To the south and east of Lake Eola is the urban neighborhood of
Thornton Park with it’s unique shops and fashionable restaurants. Lake
Eola is home to the Walt Disney Amiptheater and is the starting point
for the annual Citrus Bowl Parade.
Downtown
Nightlife: After dark downtown Orlando

Most of the bars and clubs are concentrated along Orange Avenue between
Church Street and Washington Street. Many other places can be found
along both Central Avenue and Pine Street (which both cross Orange
Avenue) in the area between Garland and Magnolia Avenue. In addition the
area along Church Street from Orange Avenue to Church Street Station is
worth checking out.
Downtown Disney: Nestled along a lake, Downtown Disney is comprised of three areas; the
Marketplace, Pleasure Island, and West Side.
The

Originally opened as Disney Village this
quaint shopping area has always been a favorite place to while a way an

lagoon, listen to entertainment on an outdoor stage, or dine at one of
its popular themed restaurants.
Pleasure Island: To
better take advantage of it's beautiful lakefront location, Pleasure
Island continues to evolve into a shopping
and dining metropolis. Orlando Harley-Davidson, and the Irish Pub and
Restaurant "Raglan Road" have already been joined by T-Rex Cafe.
The recently renovated Fulton's Crab House serves fresh seafood flown in
daily for lunch and dinner. Set in an authentic riverboat replica docked
on the waterfront, this restaurant features over 50 fresh seafood
selections, as well as non-seafood specialties. Another recent addition
is Portobello, a waterfront restaurant, offering regional Italian
cuisine for lunch and dinner. Select from the award-winning wine list to
pair with the authentic flavors of Italy found in signature pizzas and
pasta dishes. The Characters in Flight balloon ride is now open. Also

of North, Central and South American cuisine. This new restaurant
features signature frozen margaritas, an extensive tequila bar and
offers nightly entertainment.
